Carmignac strengthens sustainable investment team with senior analyst hire

Carmignac has bolstered its sustainable investment team with the appointment of Rita Wyshelesky as senior ESG analyst. Rita will report to Lloyd McAllister, Carmignac’s head of sustainable investment and will be based in London.

In the role, Rita will assist the fund management team with extra-financial analysis, thematic research and stewardship. Further, as a member of the sustainable investment team, she will also support the development of firm-wide sustainability practices and policies, as well as monitoring ESG regulatory developments and advising on fund innovation.

Rita joins Carmignac from EdenTree Investment Management where she worked since 2020, most recently as a senior responsible investment analyst specialising in corporate engagement in social issues, specifically health and wellbeing, as well as biodiversity. Prior to EdenTree, Rita worked at FAIRR Initiative and Ernst & Young. She is a chartered accountant and completed the CFA UK Level 4 Certificate in ESG Investing. She also holds an MSc in Management with Finance from the University of Bath, as well as a BSc in Biochemistry from King’s College London.
